I still have a factory h/u in my 2nd gen, i originally went with audio control lc7i. I gotta say the touring in the 9th gen with amp and sub was very easy, somebody made a factory amp bypass wire that worked amazing. In case of a short to ground or an installation mishap.

Nected to them and are not recommended.


I still have a factory h/u in my 2nd gen, i originally went with audio control lc7i. Basically i installed a lc6i this past weekend, i tapped into the output side of the factory amp harness. Those not used wires are actually used and are the pre amp wires.

I will look more at the stock wiring diagrams. At first i was looking at the audiocontrol lc7i, which is an expanded lc2i, that would allow me to install a 4 channel amp to feed awesome to the front and rear speakers: Went and got the wiring harness diagram from a forum on here ran wires from the back of the radio head to the lc7i and then add the amps.

In addition, the lc7i is designed to fit into a compact chassis allowing an easy & flexible factory system upgrade in today’s space constrained vehicles.


Level of bass correction desired. I gotta say the touring in the 9th gen with amp and sub was very easy, somebody made a factory amp bypass wire that worked amazing. Turns out all of those factory sounds are link to the front speakers which is why i went with the lc7i, so that i could just use all speaker inputs.

Jul 03, · i have two subwoofers and amplifier. I'd really like a wiring diagram that includes the colors of the stock wiring. There are multiple diagram options at this link.

The preferred wire gauge for the connection is a 18 awg and a 1a fuse is recommended. Output of subwoofer amplifier to the subwoofer, obviously. I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
